Get the answers to your questions about YS Consults:
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The cost varies based on your needs. Once our consultants have evaluated what services are needed, we will walk you through the services and fees.
Q: What does the consulting look like?
A: This will also vary. It can be anything from an hour-long phone call with one of our consultants, to an extended visit that includes a post-visit follow-up. We’ll present our proposal to you after your needs have been evaluated.
Q: Who is this for?
A: Ultimately, this is for anyone who needs outside help. Specifically, this could include:
- Churches searching for a new youth pastor
- Churches who need help with volunteer-run youth ministries
- Youth pastors struggling to find a vision or direction for their youth group
- Youth pastors and lead pastors who need mediation or conflict resolution
Q: Who are your consultants?
A: Our consultants are a team of youth ministry veterans, educators, authors, and practitioners. Each consultant brings insight and wisdom from years in youth ministry as practitioners and educators. Click her to read their bios.
Q: How do I get started?
A: Fill out the form at Let’s get started. This is simply a way for us to get to know who you are and what your needs are—it does not commit you to anything. YS Consults
will follow up with you to get the necessary information to help us present you with a plan that best fits your needs. You can then decide if YS Consults is something you want to move forward with.
Q: What’s the “YS” in YS Consults?
A: YS stands for Youth Specialties, an organization committed to serving and equipping youth pastors and volunteer youth workers in order to help them minister effectively to teenagers. YS is committed to the whole church, and therefore began YS Consults in order to help bring the church together around the mission of youth ministry. Learn more about Youth Specialties here.
